What is Logic?
Features
Overview
Is Logic going to work with Mac and Linux in the future?
Yes, we’re working on that and hope to have it out by January 2009. Both a low-level API and the full logic software will be available, and the current hardware will be compatible. You can sign up to be notified when this becomes available.

Can you ship internationally?
Yes, we regularly ship internationally using USPS.

USPS Priority Mail International (6-10 days) $21.95
USPS Express Mail International (3-5 days) $29.95

Please note that this does not include import taxes and fees that may be collected by the destination country. Also, sometimes items can take longer to arrive depending on how long it takes them to clear customs.

Is there an SDK available?
Yes, on the downloads page. There is low level access to Logic data as well as a way to make your own protocol analyzer.

Are you going to offer any other protocol analyzers in the future?
Yes. First on the list will be CAN, followed by others. Right now we support SPI, serial, I2C, and 1-Wire.

Are you actively developing/improving the software? I have some suggestions.
Yes, we intend to continue improving the software while maintaining its simplicity. If you have ideas or things you’d like to see improved please let us know. We have an extensive and growing list of things we’d like to improve/add, tracked in an issue tracking database. All updates will be rolled out for free to everyone.

How new is Logic?
The first Logic was sold to Chip on June 3rd, 2008. Since then we’ve sent Logics all over the world and have gotten some pretty cool feedback. Things are going well!

Do you have any distributors for Logic?
Yes. In addition to getting Logic from us you can also get it from the heroes at SparkFun. We are not seeking additional distributors for the immediate future.

Can I combine two Logics to get 16 channels?

Unfortunately no, due to technical limitations, although we do readily acknowledge that this would be cool.

Can Logic output logic data as well as record it?
Not right now, although there is no technical reason why this couldn’t be added to existing units with only a software modification. It’s not something that is a high priority for us right now, but it may well end up getting added.

What if my Logic stops working for some reason?
Logic is fully covered against any possible malfunction for 1 year. Just write us and we’ll get it fixed for you quickly.

What if I decide that Logic isn’t what I really need?
Just let us know within 90 days and we’ll email you a printable shipping label so you can ship it back to us at our expense, and we’ll provide a full refund.

Does Logic work in Windows XP/Vista on VMWare or Parallels on Linux or Mac?
Yes, although the maximum sample speed will be significantly lower.

Any chance Logic can be installed on Linux/Mac using WINE?
Unfortunately not at this time. We’re working on a Linux/Mac version however.
