Logic is a logic analyzer used to record, view, and measure digital signals. In addition, Logic currently has 17 different protocol analyzers including serial, I2C, SPI, CAN and many more. Logic can sample each of its 8 channels at up to 24MHz and can record up to 10 billion samples.
The Saleae software supports the following protocols: asynchronous serial, I2C, SPI, CAN, 1-Wire, UNI/O, I2S/PCM, MP Mode 9-bit Serial (i.e. Multidrop and Multiprocessor mod), Manchester, DMX-512, Parallel, JTAG*, LIN*, Atmel SWI*, MDIO*, BiSS C*, PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse*, HDLC*, HMDI CEC*, and USB 1.1*.
(* currently in beta)
Logic accepts voltages from -.5V to 5.25V, and has standard CMOS thresholds of .8V for logic low, 2.0V for logic high. Input impedance is approximately 1MΩ paralleled by 10pF (see more specs)
Start debugging within 5 minutes of opening your new Logic; everything is included: An ultra-flexible 22AWG 64/40 wire harness, 9 high-quality micro-hook probes, a USB cable (2 meter mini-B to A), and a nice carrying case. Download the software from our site (see software)
We love well made tools. That’s why we make Logic’s case out of custom CNC machined aluminum and make sure its anodized surface is finished to perfection.
Logic’s inputs are protected against overvoltage conditions via current-limiting resistors and ultra-low-capacitance diode clamps. A resettable fuse protects the USB ground return line to augment the USB host’s existing protection.
Logic comes with a 2-year warranty. If your Logic stops working for any reason, we’ll ship you a replacement at no cost, anywhere in the world. As with any other question or issue, just drop us an email, and we’ll take care of you.
Email or call us anytime. From how to use Logic, to the technical details of your particular application, to what major to choose in college. We'll try to be as helpful as we can.
